Job summary

Security State Bank & Trust (SSB&T) seeks a Senior Vice President, Loan Officer to lead the development, management, and growth of the bank's lending portfolio across commercial, consumer, agricultural, and real estate lines.

The role requires deep credit expertise, strategic relationship management, and collaboration with underwriting, risk, treasury, and operations to ensure profitable, compliant lending and ongoing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive commercial lending, business banking, credit administration, or financial services experience.
• Strong credit underwriting, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, collateral evaluation, and loan structuring expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop, originate, and manage a portfolio of commercial, consumer, agricultural, and real estate lending relationships in line with Bank policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers through proactive business development.
• Serve as a trusted financial advisor by understanding customer needs and providing appropriate lending solutions.
