The position partners with senior leaders to identify legal risks, oversee litigation strategy, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Licensed by the State Bar of Texas within 6–14 months of hire.
• Health Law certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning, direction, and advice of BSWH's legal function.
• Leads and negotiates complex contracts and risk management initiatives.
• Provides legal reviews for communications, filings, and regulatory matters.
• Advises senior leadership on laws, regulations, and legislative changes.
• Manages litigation strategy, claims, and external counsel relationships.
