CLS Health seeks a General Counsel to oversee the legal affairs, guide the President, CEO and Board, and lead a small legal team. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and strategic transactions across the healthcare sector.

The role requires JD and Texas licensure, extensive healthcare law expertise, and strong negotiation and drafting abilities. Travel to CLS Health clinics may be required, with budget oversight for outside counsel.

Qualifications

• J.D. required and licensed to practice in Texas (or able to obtain active licensure).
• Healthcare law expertise and entity management experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and counseling skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on CLS Health matters.
• Advise executives on corporate law, employment law, contracts, and transactions.
• Advise on HIPAA, HITECH, Stark, Anti-Kickback, and other healthcare regulations.
