Job summary

ProAmpac seeks a Senior Vice President, Accounting to lead the strategy, governance, and execution of accounting across a multi-site organization. This executive will own the global close, consolidations, and SEC disclosures, ensuring US GAAP compliance and strong internal controls while partnering with the CFO and senior leadership.

The role requires CPA, 15+ years of leadership, and experience in complex, multinational environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and active CPA designation.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience.
• Experience leading accounting in a large, multi-site/global org.
• Deep expertise in financial reporting and U.S. GAAP.
• Extensive experience managing external audits and complex accounting.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Executive-level communication skills to influence across functions.
• Experience in manufacturing/packaging or complex environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise accounting organization with strategy, governance, and standards.
• Own global close and consolidation for disciplined monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements and SEC disclosures under US GAAP.
• Serve as senior technical accounting authority on acquisitions and complex transactions.
• Establish accounting policies, procedures, and chart of accounts.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and documentation.
• Lead relationships with external auditors and technical matters.
• Provide leadership to CFO, executive leadership, and lenders.
• Oversee Corporate Accounting, Tax, Shared Services, Cash Management, and Consolidation.
• Lead cross-function matrixed teams with divisional finance leaders.
• Partner with CFO on acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives.
• Develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing accounting organization.
