Atlantic Group, a sophisticated financial services firm in New York, seeks a Vice President of Finance to oversee management company accounting, financial reporting, and cross-border finance for a growing global organization.

The role covers ownership of GL closes, GAAP consolidation, tax coordination, partner equity, budgeting, FP&A, and financial modeling, with exposure to senior leadership and scalability of controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience with corporate or management company responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP with consolidated financial statements experience.
• Experience guiding external audits and cross-border accounting projects.
• Understanding of partnership taxation, K-1 allocations, and partner equity concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and driver-based models.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex consolidation and reporting models.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger and close processes for US management company, GP, and international entities.
• Prepare US GAAP consolidated financial statements and footnotes.
• Lead external audits from planning to sign-off and manage PBC requests.
• Manage intercompany activity, FX considerations, and cost-plus arrangements.
• Coordinate partnership tax processes including Form 1065 workpapers and K-1 allocations.
• Maintain partner equity records, capital accounts, units, vesting, and distributions.
• Model partner distributions and equity economics.
• Own the annual operating budget and periodic reforecasts with driver reporting.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and financial models for growth initiatives.
• Produce management reporting packages for senior leadership.
• Enhance controls, processes, and scalable workflows as the organization grows.
