The YMCA of Greater Seattle seeks a Community Volunteer Manager to lead organization-wide volunteer engagement, workforce planning, onboarding, and staff training. You will drive policies, performance standards, and impact measures in collaboration with branch leadership and departments.

This role sits within the Equity and Justice Center of Excellence, championing antiracist volunteerism across the organization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred and/or five or more years’ related experience.
• Knowledge of antiracist volunteer program development and implementation.
• Experience with diverse, multilingual program participants and communities.
• Experience in system configuration and process improvements for volunteer programs.
• Strategic planning and project management in antiracist initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to design and evaluate volunteer role alignment, supervision, accessibility, and program quality.
• Knowledge of YMCA branch operations and systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement an association-wide volunteer strategy aligned with priorities and growth.
• Establish volunteer workforce plans and targets for branches and programs.
• Advise leaders on integrating volunteers and ensuring compliance and accessibility.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of volunteers across contexts.
• Provide staff training and supervision related to volunteers and policy adherence.
• Maintain auditable volunteer records and supporting documentation.
• Conduct site visits and build cross-branch volunteer networks for consistency.
• Produce annual volunteer impact reports and drive data-informed improvements.
