Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Senior VoIP Engineer to manage the Cisco Unified Communications Manager cluster across multiple enclaves. You will monitor voice/video resources, enforce security STIGs, and coordinate with vendors to resolve vulnerabilities.

This onsite role at Quantico requires a TS clearance and CUCM expertise. You will design, deploy, and document VoIP systems, provide SME support to tenant agencies, and stay ahead of emerging voice technologies while maintaining operations during

Qualifications

• Must have TOP SECRET clearance and eligible for TS/SCI.
• 5+ years designing, building, and maintaining communications systems.
• Minimum 3 years with CUCM v12+.
• CCNP and 60 days to CCNP Collaboration or completion of CLCOR.
• Experience with Cisco Unity, Presence, and Emergency Responder.
• Knowledge of SIP, IPv4 routing, and external SIP providers.
• DoD 8570 certified at IAT-II/IAM-II level.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, provisioning, operations, and emergency response for voice network operations.
• Designs, configures, and installs VoIP hardware/software upgrades.
• Develops and maintains VoIP documentation and deployment plans.
• Diagnoses problems affecting voice services and provides SME support.
• Troubleshoots voice-related issues and outages, including off-hours.
• Liaises with vendors in support of ITCSU and performs preventative maintenance.
• Keeps current with emerging voice/video technologies and trends.
• Performs other tasks as required by OSC and contracting office.
