DoorDash Labs, the independent robotics group within DoorDash, is seeking a software engineer for the data visualization team to own applications that introspect robot data for the Dot platform.

You will bridge sensors, logs, diagnostics, telemetry and diverse users, architect end-to-end systems, set roadmaps, and build intuitive, practical visualizations with a strong emphasis on performance and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
• Fluency with React and Typescript.
• Experience in 3d computer graphics
• Comfortable independently identifying and solving problems with high levels of ambiguity
• Excel at working cross-functionally with stakeholders up and down the stack

Responsabilités

• Own applications used to introspect robot data across sensors, logs, diagnostics, telemetry and mission intel.
• Architect and develop end-to-end data visualization systems with high autonomy.
• Set roadmaps, identify opportunities for new systems and execute on them.
• Ensure intuitive, practical, and delightful visualization experiences.
• Maintain a robust C++ visualization framework for 2D/3D output.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Dot program.
