Job summary

DoorDash Labs is seeking a software engineer to own the data visualization applications that introspect robot data for the Dot team. You will bridge sensors, logs, diagnostics, telemetry, and mission intel with diverse users, architecting autonomous systems with high ownership across backend and frontend.

You will build tools for autonomy, operations, and product teams, expand time-series and 3D visualization capabilities, and maintain a robust C++ visualization framework delivering 2D/3D web

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
• Fluency with React and Typescript.
• Experience in 3D computer graphics.
• Comfortable independently identifying and solving problems with high levels of ambiguity.
• Excel at working cross-functionally with stakeholders up and down the stack.

Responsibilities

• Own applications used to introspect robot data across backend and frontend.
• Architect and develop end-to-end data visualization systems.
• Set roadmaps and identify opportunities for new data introspection tools.
• Ensure intuitive, practical, and delightful user experience for the tools.
