Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Senior Visual Merchandising Specialist to shape in-store experiences and translate brand vision into immersive displays. You will lead visual strategy across key store areas, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer engagement and maintain brand standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring, and ownership of major visual initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

3+ years in visual merchandising with increasing responsibilities.
Experience in home furnishings or large-format retail is a plus.
Comfort using sales and inventory data to inform display decisions.
Ability to lead projects and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

Lead visual strategy and seasonal displays aligned with brand and campaigns.
Create on-brand, visually impactful product displays to improve flow and engagement.
Analyze inventory movement and sales trends to optimize placements.
Own major initiatives from concept to execution: launches, floorsets, promos.
Coach Sales Associates on merchandising standards and storytelling.
Maintain store standards through regular walkthroughs and rapid adjustments for brand alignment.
