Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Virtual Calibration Development Engineer in Milford, MI. You will build and deploy virtual calibration environments and simulation-based workflows for Calibration Standard Work.

Based at Milford Proving Grounds, you will collaborate across teams to improve calibration execution for Production and Advanced Calibration groups. You will also support integration of lab, dyno, battery systems, HIL, and charger environments, with a focus on plant-model correlation and

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
5+ years of engineering experience, ideally in controls, calibration, or modeling.
Strong analytical problem-solving abilities; capable of handling complex issues.
Proven success leading large, complex projects with ambiguity; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop, integrate, validate, and deploy virtual calibration environments and workflows.
Apply virtual modeling, simulation, and correlation methods to enhance virtual calibration capability.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to identify and resolve calibration and lab issues; automate calibration tasks and data post-processing.
Mentor Calibration Engineers and Technical Specialists in Road to Lab to Math environments.
