Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Calibration Engineer to lead data recording configurations across AV programs. You will drive calibration strategy, integrate software, and oversee end‑to‑end validation across vehicles, benches, and simulations.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive calibration, strong communication, and the ability to mentor teams while coordinating with software and platform groups. Hybrid work arrangement and relocation benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in automotive software integration, calibration, validation, or data‑collection systems.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex cross‑functional engineering activities.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical and software systems, embedded applications, data pipelines, and system integration.
• Experience deploying production‑level calibrations or configuration files across multiple vehicle programs or software releases.
• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own calibration strategy and deliverables for ADAS data recording programs.
• Lead integration of data recording software, applications, and configuration files.
• Lead calibration and integration activities for new software releases, including test creation and deployment.
• Plan and execute formal end‑to‑end validation with test plans and defect documentation.
• Lead data‑collection campaigns by configuring fleets and monitoring recording performance.
• Mentor calibration engineers and partner teams through guidance and training.
• Support vehicle proliferation, regional calibration, software release, and production deployment.
