Job summary

General Motors seeks a Senior Calibration Engineer for the AV Fleet Data Engineering team to drive calibration, integration, validation, and deployment of data recording solutions across vehicle programs and software platforms.

You will collaborate with software, systems, platform, quality, and data teams to ensure accurate, reliable, scalable configurations supporting product development, fleet monitoring, and regulatory needs. Hybrid work with relocation benefits available.

Qualifications

5+ years in engineering with automotive software integration, calibration, validation, or data‑collection systems.
B.S. in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or related.
Demonstrated experience leading complex cross‑functional engineering activities.
Strong understanding of vehicle electrical and software systems and data pipelines.
Experience deploying production‑level calibrations or configuration files across multiple vehicle programs.

Responsibilities

Own calibration strategy and deliverables for ADAS data recording and data collection programs.
Lead integration of data recording software and configurations into vehicles, benches, and simulation environments.
Lead calibration activities for new software releases including tests and deployment readiness.
Plan and execute end‑to‑end validation with test plans, cases, and reporting.
Define configurations and deploy to fleets; monitor and analyze campaign metrics.
Triage issues from symptoms to root cause, and coordinate with software and platform teams.
Establish monitoring and alerting for connected test fleets and perform data‑driven analyses.
Mentor calibration engineers and partner teams with guidance and training.
