Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, CS, Math or related engineering field
• 5+ years of technical and/or manufacturing engineering experience
• Experience with data acquisition and analysis on complex problems
• Some knowledge of powertrain systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate test vehicles

Responsibilities

• Follow documented procedures to calibrate systems to meet product goals and provide feedback for improvement
• Help create procedures to document standard work for new technologies
• Design and manage strategic interfaces within Vehicle Calibration and/or Engine Controls
• Help train new calibration engineers on calibration processes
• Lead requirements development with other activities
• Support root cause analysis
• Lead troubleshooting activities for complex system issues across programs
• Capture and analyze empirical data efficiently
• Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices
• Identify and document calibration vulnerabilities and build mitigation action plans; track corrective actions
