Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior vibroacoustic engineer to support the development and operation of New Glenn. You will predict vibration, shock, and acoustic environments for launch vehicles, analyze test data, and contribute to system-level dynamic testing and mission integration with customers. Qualified candidates have a B.S.

in mechanical or aerospace engineering, 8+ years of related experience, strong fundamentals (PSD, Grms, SPL), MATLAB, and experience with GitLab and Jira ITS. U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Proficiency in vibroacoustic and structural fundamentals (PSD, Grms, SPL, OASPL, SRS, VRS, SDOF).
• MATLAB proficiency.
• Experience with GitLab and Jira ITS.

Responsibilities

• Prediction of launch vehicle vibration, shock, and acoustic environments using empirical and numerical methods.
• Data processing and interpretation of ground and flight tests.
• Development, supervision, and verification of dynamic environment tests at component to system level.
• Support high and low frequency loads tasks and vehicle integration with customers.
