Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking a seasoned vibroacoustic engineer to support New Glenn development and test facilities. You will analyze vibration, shock, and acoustic environments and apply empirical and numerical modeling to predict loads on launch vehicle components.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience, MATLAB proficiency, and familiarity with GitLab and Jira ITS. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or eligible nationals.

Competenze

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Passion for launch vehicle vibroacoustic environments development/validation/testing.
• Solid foundation of vibroacoustic and structural fundamentals (PSD, Grms, SPL, OASPL, SRS, VRS, SDOF, FDS, etc).
• Proficiency in MATLAB.

Mansioni

• Prediction of launch vehicle vibration, shock, and acoustic environments using empirical and numerical modeling.
• Shock, vibration, and acoustic data processing and interpretation of ground and flight tests.
• Development, supervision, and verification of dynamic environment tests at component, sub-system, and system levels.
• Handle other high and low frequency loads tasks as required.
• Payload/space vehicle mission integration with external customers.
