Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced engineer to support New Glenn development and operations. You will analyze high-frequency vibration, shock, and acoustic environments, perform data processing on test data, and help validate dynamic environment tests, working with customers on mission integration. The role requires a B.S.

in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency in MATLAB, Wave6/ANSYS/NASTRAN, and cybersecurity-minded tools like GitLab/Jira ITS. U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Passion for launch vehicle vibroacoustic environments development/validation/testing.
• Solid foundation of vibroacoustic and structural dynamics fundamentals.
• MATLAB proficiency.
• Experience with GitLab and Jira ITS.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to inclusive culture.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Prediction of launch vehicle vibration, shock, and acoustic environments using modeling.
• Shock, vibration, and acoustic measurement/data processing of ground and flight tests.
• Development, supervision, and verification of dynamic environment tests.
• Other high and low frequency loads tasks as required.
• Payload/space vehicle mission integration with external customers.
