Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Manager, Program Management - Vendor Performance to establish and lead the vendor performance program across soft services, hard services, and equipment vendors. This role drives standardized scorecards, governance, and multi-year strategy to improve outsourcing outcomes.

The position requires leading a large, global, remote team, developing strategic initiatives, and partnering with Sourcing and Operations to optimize vendor relationships and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or significant relevant experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience managing successful teams.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in customer support operations with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Minimum of 8 years of general business experience in large, matrixed organizations.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Minimum of 5 years of change management experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of project or program management experience, including advancing program/project management methodologies.
• Experience managing global and remote teams.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience building and mentoring teams, including PMs and Sr PMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a single, unified vendor performance team spanning soft services, hard services, and equipment vendors.
• Create, own, and govern the multi-year vendor performance strategy and service network architecture.
• Establish and govern the vendor performance program, including standardized scorecards and corrective action frameworks.
• Drive alignment with Sourcing, Operations, and regional teams on vendor standards and selection.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to adopt vendor performance standards and governance decisions.
• Lead large, cross-facility RFPs and shape vendor strategies to support centralized, national vendor management.
• Negotiate resources and provide guidance to project teams to realize strategic business goals.
