Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a seasoned manager of program management - Vendor Performance to lead a national vendor portfolio, standardize scorecards, and drive continuous improvement across soft services, hard services, and equipment vendors.

You will own the multi-year strategy, govern budgets and contracts, partner with Sourcing and Operations, and mentor a remote, cross-functional team to deliver measurable vendor performance improvements while upholding the Starbucks experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or significant relevant experience.
• 8+ years managing successful teams.
• 8+ years in customer support operations.
• 8+ years in large, matrixed organizations.
• 8+ years leading cross-functional initiatives.
• 5+ years of change management experience.
• 8+ years of project or program management experience, with mature PM methodologies.
• Experience managing global and remote teams.
• 8+ years building and mentoring PMs/Sr PMs.

Responsibilities

• Model leadership behaviors aligned with Starbucks Mission and Values.
• Lead a unified vendor performance team across soft/hard services & equipment vendors.
• Govern multi-year vendor performance strategy, goals, budget, initiatives, and resource allocation.
• Establish standardized scorecards and corrective action frameworks.
• Drive vendor compliance, optimize off-contract avoidance, and capture negotiated value.
• Partner with Sourcing, Operations, and regional teams on vendor selection standards.
• Influence senior leaders to adopt vendor performance standards and continuous improvements.
• Lead large cross-facility RFPs and shape centralized vendor strategies.
• Apply contract administration to strengthen financial governance across a large portfolio.
