Job summary

Amazon, Global Engineering Services (GES), seeks a Sr. Supply Chain Manager to lead the Vendor Portfolio Strategy & Performance. This role owns the strategy, standards, and performance frameworks for the full vendor ecosystem, building scorecards, dashboards, and actionable insights across 450+ projects valued at $5B+.

The position requires influencing sourcing, managing contingent worker development, and engaging senior leadership to drive improvements and adoption of best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and developing performance accountability frameworks.
• Experience with project management tools and reporting frameworks (e.g., Smartsheet, Excel, or equivalent) and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement portfolio-wide vendor performance strategy and scorecards to drive year-over-year improvements.
• Identify cross-vendor patterns, perform root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions with broad impact.
• Build vendor performance dashboards and KPI frameworks for leadership visibility into portfolio health.
• Ensure vendor data informs sourcing decisions, contract renewals, and strategic investments.
• Influence vendor sourcing strategy in partnership with Global Procurement Operations.
• Design onboarding frameworks and development programs for contingent workers across teams.
