Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Vendor Performance Manager to define the vision, roadmap, and execution for the Maintenance business within Surface Transportation in the United States. The role involves negotiating with vendors and 3PLs, aligning with Finance and Capital Planning, and influencing senior leaders across Amazon.

The position requires strong supply chain expertise, data-driven decision making, and the ability to balance strategy with day-to-day execution; up to 25%

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• 1+ years of vendor management experience.
• Vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Senior Vendor Performance Manager for the vendor maintenance team, monitoring KPIs and SLAs.
• Collaborate with external vendors to improve operational performance and cost.
• Define and manage the Maintenance business vision, roadmap, and cost.
• Produce whitepapers and status updates for buy-in and milestone reviews.
• Develop KPIs and a reporting suite for program management.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and cross-vendor process improvements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and suppliers to optimize inventory and replenishment.
• Present strategies and program reviews to Operations and Finance leaders.
