Cowan in Baltimore is seeking a Senior Vendor Coordinator to be the main point of contact for equipment and maintenance vendors. The role focuses on vendor solutions, audits, and timely repairs while guiding internal teams through complex processes.

Ideal candidates have a technical diesel background and solid communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently. This is a full-time role with standard work hours.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in diesel technology preferred but not required.
• 2-4 years of diesel or automotive repair experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison for maintenance, operations and external vendors.
• Communicate vendor solutions to internal customers and provide guidance.
• Resolve invoice issues, payment discrepancies, vendor issues and process breakdowns.
• Perform audits of vendors.
• Work with vendors to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
• Explore process improvements to reduce costs and improve quality.
