Job summary

Equify Financial is seeking a Senior Title Specialist in Fort Worth, TX to ensure accurate processing of motor vehicle titles and lien perfection across states. This role requires DMV law knowledge, attention to detail, and strong customer interaction with title agencies, DMVs, and internal teams.

Responsibilities include perfecting liens, handling repo titles, maintaining title records, and building nationwide agency relationships. Travel may be required to complete time-sensitive title work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent titling experience with a financial institution or DMV.
• Strong knowledge of motor vehicle title processing and lien perfection.
• Experience with Dealertrack, Vintek, or Vitu systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of DMV laws and title regulations across states.
• Interpret and apply state requirements for timely processing.
• Perfect liens by ensuring documentation is completed and submitted on time.
• Process repo titles and title maintenance.
• Develop title agency/vendor relationships for out-of-state lien perfections.
• Review motor vehicle transactions and advise customers and internal staff.
• Verify accuracy of titles and registration documents from DMVs and dealers.
• Understand 50-state TT&L tax calculations.
• Scan and maintain electronic title records.
• Build relationships with tax offices and DMVs nationwide.
• Organize and maintain legal and title documentation.
• Coordinate with departments to resolve title issues.
• Travel as needed for time-sensitive title work.
• Identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
