Job summary

Cox Enterprises in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist to manage the transport of customer vehicles to Manheim auction sites and other regional destinations. You will build strong relationships with the Manheim team, handle multi-location emails, and process orders using AS400 while ensuring timely, accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years administrative experience (in automotive industry preferred).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to execute and deliver results.
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills.
• High attention to detail including precise data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationship with Manheim Auction commercial team and management.
• Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails.
• Entry of all manual orders and processing of other AS400 system orders.
• Manage escalated Client Success VINs with carriers and agents.
• Monitor holds and verification delays.
• Dispatch negotiation and a strong understanding of sales tactics to increase margin.
• Action AutoIMS for Trans Delay Holds, Cancellations, ETA's.
• Follow up with carriers on multiple VINs daily.
• Process Fees and post assessorial charges to record.
• Request Hold Harmless/Releases.
• Investigate kickbacks of VINs by carriers for re-dispatch.
• Hold carriers accountable to their plan.
• Create and manage corrective action of a vendor.
• Monitor order entry failures and correct.
• Understand margin relative to position and track requirements.
• Monitor and correct master data files for location errors.
• Measure performance and analyze client/vendor data.
• Report on performance for senior leadership.
• Compile vehicle transportation data and generate reports.
• Follow all job-related duties as directed by supervisor.
• Think outside the box to solve problems quickly.
• Utilize Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Work independently in a hybrid environment to deliver results.
• Demonstrate history of customer service and multi-tasking roles.
