Job summary

Cox Enterprises seeks aSenior Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist to manage the transport of customer vehicles to Manheim auction sites and regional destinations. You will build relationships with the Manheim commercial team and coordinate cross-location activities.

Responsibilities include processing orders in AS400, handling emails and phone communications, monitoring holds, and negotiating with carriers to protect margins.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years administrative experience (in automotive industry preferred).
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills.
• High attention to detail including precise data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to execute and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Build relationship with Manheim Auction commercial team and management.
• Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails.
• Entry of all manual orders and processing of other AS400 system orders.
• Manage escalated Client Success VINs with carriers and agents.
• Monitor holds and verification delays.
• Dispatch negotiation and a strong understanding of sales tactics to increase margin.
• Follow up with carriers on multiple VINs daily.
• Process fees and post assessorial charges to record.
• Investigating kickback of VINs by carriers to re-dispatch units.
• Create and manage corrective action of a vendor.
• Monitor order entry failures and correct.
• Understand margin relative to position and track margin requirements.
• Measure performance and generate reports for leadership.
• Report on performance results for high level management.
