Qualifications

• Four years of experience in progressively responsible management or administrative staff work, including two years with a state motor vehicles program or related automobile industry.
• Graduation from a four-year college or university, or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Program Oversight: Manage statewide safety and emissions inspection activities and audits.
• Violation Review: Evaluate investigation reports and determine sanctions for violations.
• Training Guidance: Review and develop certification training materials and coordinate at least one QA training conference per year.
• Data Management: Maintain inspection databases and verify certification information.
• Procedure Development: Establish and update procedures for staff.
• Board Coordination: Coordinate meetings and communications of the Inspection Advisory Board.
