Job summary

Jacobs seeks a VDC Lead to manage digital delivery for Advanced Manufacturing projects in the U.S. This site‑based role supports a hybrid work model, coordinating BIM execution and clash resolution across design and construction teams.

You will drive 3D/4D/5D workflows, laser data integration, and Scan‑to‑BIM efforts while mentoring staff and ensuring on‑site leadership and collaboration with field operations.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments in Design and Construction.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, Revizto and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven track record of on‑site leadership of VDC activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment on a project site and virtually.
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.
• Willingness to work on site at a project near Corpus Christi, TX.

Responsibilities

• Provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership aligned with internal and client goals.
• Define digital delivery scope for project estimates and coordinate project technical setup and model deliverables.
• Create and implement BIM Execution Plans for EPCM; manage 3D, 4D, 5D tasks; coordinate data environment.
• Lead clash detection, manage on‑site VDC activities, and coordinate with field operations.
• Support training, development, and mentoring of team members; act as on‑site technology lead.
