Jacobs is seeking an experienced VDC Lead to manage digital delivery across manufacturing-focused projects. You will align BIM execution with client goals, develop DP/BIM plans, and oversee model deliverables from design through construction.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments in Design and Construction.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of onsite leadership of VDC activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment on a project site and virtually.
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership.
• Define digital delivery scope for project estimates.
• Coordinate project technical setup and model deliverables.
• Lead clash detection and resolution meetings.
• Coordinate laser scan data integration and Scan to BIM efforts.
• Lead and mentor team members on VDC processes.
• Support business development during proposals and estimates.
