Job summary

Bosun is seeking a Senior VDC / BIM Coordinator to lead BIM coordination for 2–3 commercial projects in Texas, from preconstruction through the first year of construction. You'll collaborate with project managers, superintendents, design partners, and subcontractors to resolve constructability issues before they impact the field.

You will use Revit to model scope gaps, run clash detection in Navisworks, develop BEP/BIP plans, and support preconstruction with BIM-based takeoffs and planning.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of VDC/BIM experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary trade models and leading BIM coordination meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination for commercial projects from kickoff through field execution.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models from design partners and trades.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and facilitate coordination meetings.
• Develop BEP and BIP tailored to each project.
• Support Preconstruction with BIM-based quantity takeoffs, coordination, logistics, and planning.
• Present design and coordination challenges using 3D models and drawings.
