Job summary

STV is seeking a BIM Manager for our Digital Advisory group to lead and mentor in BIM across our Texas locations, driving design, coordination, and construction workflows for optimal project quality and productivity.

Responsibilities include creating and managing 3D BIM models, standards, and libraries; leading coordination meetings; mentoring teams; and interfacing with clients to define BIM deliverables. Requires associate degree+, 10+ years BIM, Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD/ACC proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher education.
• 10+ years of AEC industry experience with a focus on BIM.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and ACC.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and ACC platform.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team management.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
• Mentoring junior staff and leading a team of specialists.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage detailed 3D BIM models through the project life cycle.
• Develop and maintain BIM standards, procedures, and protocols.
• Lead multi-disciplinary BIM coordination meetings and resolve issues.
• Provide hands-on support for BIM software and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage and oversee the enterprise digital design library, including families, templates, and scripts.
• Evaluate project deliverables for compliance with BIM execution plans, standards, and client requirements.
• Interface with clients to define BIM deliverables and protocols.
• Promote continuous improvement by analytics from project metrics.
• Train and mentor project teams in BIM best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to advance BIM capabilities.
