Job summary

Bosun is seeking a Senior VDC/BIM Coordinator to own BIM coordination across multiple Texas commercial projects. You will work with project managers, superintendents, designers, and subs to identify constructability issues early and resolve them before fields impact schedules.

Youll use Revit for modeling, lead clash detection, and develop BEP/BIP plans while supporting preconstruction with BIM-based takeoffs and logistics planning.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of VDC/BIM experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary trade models and leading BIM coordination meetings.
• Strong proficiency with Revit and Navisworks; ability to lead clash detection.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to project teams and owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination for commercial construction projects from kickoff through field execution.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models from architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks and facilitate coordination meetings.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and BIM Implementation Plans (BIP) for each project.
• Support Preconstruction with BIM-based quantity takeoffs, planning, and logistics.
