Job summary

PCL Buildings Inc. is seeking a VDC Manager to lead virtual design and construction initiatives across our national data center projects.

You will manage multidiscipline models, ensure modeling standards, and coordinate with design and field teams to drive efficient workflows. Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in construction with 4–5 years in VDC, strong BIM skills, and a proven ability to translate 2D drawings into comprehensive 3D/4D models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in architecture, engineering, construction (AEC) or related field.
• 8–10 years construction experience including 4–5 years VDC-related experience.
• Strong understanding of construction sequences and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current multidiscipline construction models and standards.
• Allocate resources and manage department processes and budgets.
• Collaborate with estimating to plan staffing and budgets for pursuits.
• Support setup and best practices of digital workflows and VDC tools.
• Coordinate trade detailing and design deliverables between design and construction teams.
• Contribute to scoping design deliverables and VDC-enabled proposals.
