Job summary

Allmand, a Generac Company, is seeking a Senior Value Stream Manager to lead the value stream operations and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will implement the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS), develop a qualified team, and manage performance to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly targets.

The role requires strong Lean leadership, a track record of delivering process improvements, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 7 years progressive operations or lean management experience.
• Preferred: Lean implementation experience (5 years), Lean certifications, SAP or ERP experience, PFEP/Kanban knowledge, leadership across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement activities, establishing standardized work and safety improvements.
• Deliver metric results using PDCA/MDI, create a visible value stream, and ensure leadership standard work.
• Provide training and cross-training for employees, including backups from other areas, to ensure continuous operations.
• Develop and execute short and long-range continuous improvement plans to improve people, safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics.
• Coordinate launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations and participate in standards, programs and strategic plans.
