Job summary

Allmand, a Generac Company, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive ongoing process improvements across the value chain. You will study manufacturing methods, identify improvements, and work with shop floor personnel to implement plans that lower costs and improve quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating NPI launches, supporting facility transformation, and ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are embedded in operations. Strong CAD and lean skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and process improvements.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks and/or ProE) and strong communication skills.
• Lean principles knowledge and cross-functional project leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) in Operations.
• Contribute to facility transformation and technology transfer across value streams.
• Maintain process documentation and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote demand-driven principles to support operational excellence and long-range plans.
• Ensure material and information flows are synchronized for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Generate innovative ideas to improve business results and customer satisfaction.
• Deploy Generac tools, standards, and processes company-wide.
• Work with shop floor personnel to improve manufacturing methods and controls.
• Define and implement equipment, PLC programming, and tooling requirements.
