Job summary
Allmand, a Generac Company, seeks a Senior Value Stream Manager to lead daily operations and drive continuous improvement across the value stream. You will implement the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS) to ensure safety, quality, and cost efficiency while developing a high-performing, diverse team.
Responsibilities include shaping workflows, applying PDCA with MDI, training leaders, and launching New Product Introductions (NPI).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- 7 years progressive operations or lean management experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement, creating continuous product flow and safe practices.
- Utilize PDCA process with the MDI to deliver metrics in people, safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Ensure leaders provide effective training and cross-training for employees.
- Develop and execute short and long-range continuous improvement plans for metric improvements.
- Lead and coordinate New Product Introductions (NPI) launches within Operations and participate in standards and strategic facility plans.
