Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer III to lead lean initiatives across the value stream in a manufacturing or distribution facility. You will coach teams in Lean tools and implement standard work and flow improvements using the Generac Manufacturing System.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution, problem solving, and mentoring peers to drive waste elimination, performance gains, and a culture of continuous improvement with measurable KPI results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5 years of continuous improvement/Lean engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead Lean deployments and contact cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead Lean initiatives using GMS and lean tools.
• Develop and deploy standard work across facilities.
• Mentor staff in Lean principles and problem solving.
• Participate in facility strategic plans with Continuous Improvement team.
• Drive information sharing of best practices and external benchmarks.
