Job summary

MDThink-Maryland Benefits-State of Maryland(Data Team) seeks a Senior Value Stream Engineer to drive end-to-end software delivery, focusing on bottlenecks, latency, and dependencies. You will lead modernization initiatives, migrating legacy systems to AWS cloud-native architectures and coach Agile teams in SAFe practices.

You will mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners, facilitate PI Planning, and provide executive-level dashboards on transformation progress and program risks.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of SAFe experience.
• Certifications such as SASM or SA preferred.
• Solid AWS knowledge for cloud modernization.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Stakeholders on SAFe principles.
• Facilitate PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Manage risks and dependencies across multiple Agile teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead conversations among Agile leaders and executives to align goals and resolve impediments.
• Drive Kaizen and technical excellence within Value Streams.
• Adopt a holistic view of the organization as interconnected components.
• Provide high-level executive reporting on flow velocity and transformation progress.
• Develop executive dashboards for Transformation Velocity, finance health, and program risks.
• Translate technical metrics into business value for stakeholders.
• Present modernization roadmaps and status to agency leadership.
• Monitor progress of technology modernization focusing on AWS adoption.
