Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services is seeking a Sr. Delivery Consultant – Application Modernization to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customer objectives. You will lead architecture, provide guidance, and drive risk-managed migrations while mentoring teams.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, stay current on industry trends, and champion best practices across project lifecycles with a focus on scalable, secure, and automated cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience.
• Experience leading application architecture/design/modernization projects, including cloud-based solutioning with AI and automation.
• 5+ years architecting/operating solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP or similar.
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose migration strategies.
• Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Mentor and share knowledge within the organization; contribute reusable artifacts.
• Experience as a tech lead or leading a high performing consulting team.
