Job summary

MPJV CVTEK seeks a Lead Developer to direct the DevSecOps lifecycle and Agile sprint execution for a high-visibility government system at Fort Meade, MD. The role combines hands-on coding leadership with strategic oversight, balancing modernization of legacy codebases with adoption of new enterprise platforms.

You will manage design, coding, testing, and releases, ensure SSO/PKI integration, and maintain security scanning workflows and compliance.

Qualifications

Active Secret clearance with IT-I eligibility and U.S. citizenship required.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
DoD 8570.01-M / 8140.01 compliant IAT Level II baseline certification.
Experience with DevSecOps lifecycle and Agile sprint execution.
Experience with legacy systems modernization and data integration.

Responsibilities

Direct the DevSecOps lifecycle across Plan, Develop, Build, Test, Release, Deliver, Deploy, Operate, Monitor, Feedback.
Lead an Agile/Scrum development team using ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL Server.
Perform conceptual and detailed design, coding, and unit testing; optimize SQL for relational databases.
Implement TDD methodologies and maintain traceability from user stories to tests.
Prepare formal CCB release packages, including rollback plans and security scans.
Ensure SSO/PKI integration and remediate critical/high findings before submission.
Provide Tier III Help Desk support per strict SLAs and create incident scripts.
Refactor applications for data integration and decommissioning.
Contribute to project management, metrics, and end-user training content.
