Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Scrum Master to support the AOUSC CMSO modernization effort.

You will guide agile teams in SAFe, coach Product Owners, and drive program increments with a focus on delivering mission-critical case management software used across U.S. courts. The role requires 5+ years in Agile environments, SAFe experience, PMP eligibility, and strong facilitation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least five (5+) years in an Agile development environment.
• Experience implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a high tempo environment.
• Experience with software development or a software org.
• MUST HAVE PMP to be considered; CSM or PMI-ACP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish PI objectives and goals aligned to program increments.
• Coach teams and Product Owners on Agile concepts including Epic/User Story creation.
• Manage expectations with multiple Product Owners and senior stakeholders.
• Lead SCRUM ceremonies: daily standups, planning, grooming, reviews, retrospectives.
• Maintain JIRA and information radiators for teams.
• Mentor teams on Agile values and continuous improvement.
• Develop release plans with Product Management and groom backlogs.
• Identify risks, dependencies and impediments; provide mitigation.
• Foster self-organizing, high-performing teams.
