Northern Trust Corp is seeking a Senior Valuations Analyst for the Valuation Oversight Team in Chicago. The role focuses on valuation governance, model management, and oversight of complex securities, reporting to the Global Head of Valuations.

The candidate will validate valuation methodologies, support PVC materials, and drive process improvements across NTAM’s valuation framework while collaborating with risk, fund administration, and investment teams.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of valuation principles and methodologies (Income/Market/Asset Approaches).
• Experience with ASC 820 fair value measurement concepts and governance.
• Analytical skills to synthesize incomplete information and justify conclusions.
• Experience reviewing third-party valuation reports and methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Oversee fair value pricing and validation of complex/illiquid securities.
• Prepare analyses and governance materials for valuation committees.
• Support pricing and valuation governance processes and reporting.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, fund administration, and investment teams on valuation matters.
• Mentor junior analysts on valuation techniques and modeling.
