Northern Trust, a global financial services leader, seeks a Pricing and Valuation professional to oversee fair value governance, valuation methodologies, and model management across NTAM’s accounts, funds, and clients.

The role combines valuation analysis with governance, reporting, and process improvements to strengthen controls, automation, and regulatory compliance within a world‑class valuation framework.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of valuation principles and methodologies, including the Income, Market, and Asset approaches.
• Knowledge of ASC 820 fair value concepts, governance practices, and valuation methodologies across markets.
• Experience analyzing complex and illiquid securities requiring professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day valuation oversight related to fair valuation, ASC 820 leveling, and reporting.
• Develop and document internal valuation models for complex and illiquid securities.
• Review third-party valuation reports and inputs for reasonableness and support.
• Research complex valuation matters including private investments, CVRs, escrow positions, and delisted securities.
• Support PVC through analyses, governance materials, and committee reporting.
• Ensure governance of pricing methodologies and model validation.
