Job summary

Rea is a growing Top 100 business advisory and accounting firm with 400+ professionals across Ohio. We seek a motivated Business Valuation Manager to lead valuation engagements for clients in Cleveland, manage projects from proposal to completion, and supervise staff to ensure quality.

The role requires 7–10 years of valuation experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance/economics, and credentials ABV/ASA/CFA/CVA. Travel is 10–15%. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics.
• 7-10 years of valuation experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to network, market, develop leads and generate revenues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs related company, industry, and economic research.
• Analyzes client financial statements.
• Constructs financial models.
• Assesses operational profitability and financial conditions.
• Develops and reviews cash flow forecasts.
• Performs benchmark analysis.
• Documents and maintains all relevant work product.
• Composes narrative reports supporting valuation analyses.
• Prepares exhibits and memos illustrating complex issues.
• Ensures quality controls on work products.
• Participates in client meetings and guides staff on project plans and timelines.
• Supervises day-to-day workload and assesses staff performance.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

7-10 years of relevant valuation experience
