Job summary

USA Tech Recruit is seeking a Technical Director – Validation in Atlanta, GA, hybrid. You will lead lab bring-up, develop validation methodologies, and collaborate with silicon, FPGA, PCB, and applications teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, data-driven validation, and extensive use of Python to automate experiments and data collection. You will guide validation planning, execution, and troubleshooting across high-speed memory interfaces, DDR topologies, and processor-memory systems

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Extensive hands-on validation experience in high-speed hardware.
• Proven ability to automate lab data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead lab bring-up and silicon validation for memory interface products.
• Develop and implement validation methodologies and tests.
• Own validation planning, bench prep, characterization and execution.
• Develop Python-based automation to control lab equipment and collect data.
• Collaborate with silicon, FPGA, PCB and applications teams.
• Analyze system performance including signal integrity and power integrity.
• Provide input to FPGA, PCB and system design requirements.
• Troubleshoot hardware and silicon issues using advanced test equipment.
• Support applications and customers in issue reproduction and resolution.
• Drive cross-functional projects to successful validation.
