microTECH Global LTD is seeking a Technical Director – Validation in Johns Creek, GA, a hybrid role (3 days onsite). The candidate will lead validation of high-speed memory interfaces, develop methodologies, and automate lab workflows using Python.

A veteran semiconductor professional will oversee lab bring‑up, characterization, and cross‑functional collaboration with IC design and PCB teams. The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on hardware debugging, and extensive experience with high-speed

Qualifications

• 20+ years' relevant semiconductor experience.
• Strong experience with high-speed and/or memory I/O devices.
• Strong understanding of high-speed signalling, signal integrity and PCB design.
• Hands‑on experience with oscilloscopes, BERTs and signal generators.
• Experience with logic/protocol analysers and hardware debugging.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Salary: $160,700 – $298,400 + bonus & equity

A leading semiconductor company is looking for a Technical Director – Validation to join its Memory Interface team. This is a senior, hands‑on role focused on silicon validation, high-speed memory interfaces and lab automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead lab bring‑up and validation of high-speed semiconductor products
• Develop validation methodologies and test environments
• Automate lab equipment and data analysis using Python
• Lead characterization and silicon validation activities
• Work closely with IC design, FPGA, PCB and applications teams
