Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a senior UX researcher to join the Platform research team. You will lead research across Claude-based products, partnering with Platform engineers, product managers, and designers to understand developer and enterprise users.

You will shape research strategy, run mixed-method studies, and create actionable insights that guide product decisions on APIs, SDKs, and developer tools, while leveraging AI to accelerate analysis and tooling.

Qualifications

• Industry UX research experience independently scoping, designing, running, and reporting end-to-end studies.
• Mixed-methods expertise: interviewing technical users well, and designing and analyzing surveys rigorously.
• A technical background: software engineer experience, developer tools research, or deep technical product research.
• Hands-on use of AI in your own research to build analyses and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Understand what platforms and users need to know; set the research agenda.
• Design and run studies using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Study developers, building teams, and buyers of the platform to understand usage and needs.
• Communicate findings to product managers, designers, and engineers to inform decisions.
• Build tools and infrastructure to keep research pace with the platform and Claude.
