Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to shape AI-native business applications at AWS.

You will lead high-impact research across product areas, coordinating with Design, Product, Engineering, and Applied Science to ensure customer evidence informs near-term decisions and longer-term direction. You will conduct diverse studies—interviews, surveys, diary studies, and mixed-methods—translating findings into actionable recommendations that guide roadmaps and improve

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
• 5+ years of hands-on field research, ethnography, lab-based testing, remote testing, and surveys
• Experience in study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting
• Experience with behavioral data collection, quantitative analysis, and statistics
• Portfolio showing past work like study plans, reports, personas

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research programs across a product area, including study design, recruitment, moderation, analysis, synthesis, and communication of findings
• Drive a broad range of research from rapid evaluations to foundational interviews and mixed-methods programs
• Partner with senior cross-functional stakeholders to inform product strategy and improve live experiences
• Define research plans for ambiguous spaces and select appropriate methods
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations to influence roadmaps
