Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior UX Researcher for AWS Experience Analytics (EXA) to lead research shaping agentic products and experiences at scale. You will partner with science, engineering, and product teams to deliver insights that influence strategy, metrics, and segmentation for AI-first experiences.

You will bring deep experience in agentic tools and large-scale systems, delivering research that informs experience health metrics and product direction while mentoring junior researchers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact experience.
• 5+ years of supporting quantitative and qualitative consumer research experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• PhD in HCI or Behavioral Science or related field.
• Experience conducting B2B research.
• Fluency in triangulating customer insights with telemetry data.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research to inform agent and agent-assisted experience strategy across AWS.
• Partner with engineering teams to build agent tooling and research instrumentation.
• Develop thought leadership on AI-augmented and agent-primary experiences that influences product development across AWS.
• Lead EXA data product delivery with cross-functional teams, bringing the AI-first and agent-customer perspective.
• Build prototypes using agentic tools to bring research insights to life and communicate ideas to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the team's research direction by proposing new approaches, maintaining the research knowledge base, and identifying emerging behaviors.
• Mentor junior researchers.
