Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a UX Researcher to lead research shaping agentic products and experiences at scale.

You will partner with science, engineering, and product teams to deliver insights for AI-first and agent-supported workflows. You will design and run qualitative and quantitative studies, build research instrumentation, and mentor junior researchers while advancing Experience Health metrics and segmentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading User Research projects with impact.
• 5+ years supporting quantitative and qualitative consumer research.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• PhD in HCI or Behavioral Science or related field.
• Experience conducting B2B research.
• Fluency in triangulating customer insights with telemetry data.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research to inform agent and agent-assisted experience strategy across AWS.
• Partner with engineering teams to build agent tooling and research instrumentation.
• Develop thought leadership on AI-augmented experiences influencing product development.
• Lead EXA data product delivery with cross-functional teams, bringing AI-first perspectives.
• Build prototypes using agentic tools to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Contribute to research direction and maintain the knowledge base.
• Mentor junior researchers.
