Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to guide AI-native business applications. You will lead high-impact research across product areas, translating insights into actionable recommendations that shape roadmaps and customer outcomes.

Collaborating with Design, Product, Engineering, and Applied Science, you will drive both tactical and foundational studies, mentor junior researchers, and elevate research craft across the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading User Research with measurable impact.
• Experience with field research, ethnography, lab-based testing, remote testing, and surveys.
• Portfolio with study plans, reports, personas and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end research programs across a product area.
• Drive rapid evaluative studies and foundational interviews.
• Partner with Design, Product, Engineering to inform strategy and improvements.
• Define plans for ambiguous spaces and select appropriate methods.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations influencing roadmaps.
• Mentor junior researchers and raise research quality.
